Because every detail matters.

The bridesmaids and myself had exactly the look I had in mind and our hair was still looking perfect at the end of the night! Many thanks for all your help with my veil and organising the finishing touches to my dress and hair. Your expertise and calming influence were invaluable.

Questions and Answers

Which areas of Norfolk do you cover for weddings?

I’m based in Norwich and offer mobile bridal hairstyling wherever your wedding takes you. I’m happy to travel across Norfolk to create your perfect bridal look – whether that’s at your home, venue, or accommodation on the morning of your wedding. For locations more than 10 miles from Norwich city centre, additional costs may apply to cover travel, early start times, or overnight accommodation if needed. Please get in touch to chat about your plans, and I’ll be delighted to provide a personalised quote for your big day. I bring everything needed to create beautiful, lasting hairstyles for you and your bridal party.

Do I need a wedding hair trial?

You’re welcome to book a trial without committing to me for your wedding day – it’s important that you feel comfortable and confident in your choice. I’ll confirm my availability beforehand and hold your wedding date for three working days after your trial so you have time to decide. After that, the date can only be secured with a deposit. A trial is highly recommended so we can discuss your ideas and create a look that complements your dress, features and style. You’re welcome to bring inspiration photos, or I can share examples to help you choose. I’ll take pictures of your finished look so we can recreate it perfectly on the day. Trials usually take place at my home salon in Thorpe St. Andrew, Norwich. For bridesmaids, I recommend a trial where possible to ensure everyone is happy with their style. If a trial isn’t planned, I’ll arrange a call with you to discuss each person’s hair type and preferred look – preparation helps the wedding morning run smoothly.

How do I book you for my wedding?

To book, simply call or text me on 07809405278 or complete the enquiry form on my website, and I’ll be in touch to confirm my availability for your wedding day. To secure your wedding date in my diary, a £50 deposit is required for the bride and £25 per person for any additional bookings. Your date cannot be guaranteed until the deposit is received. Bookings are subject to my availability. I can often take last-minute bookings if your date is free and the deposit is paid – but most brides secure their stylist up to a year in advance, so early booking is recommended. If you’ve had a trial, I’ll hold your date for three working days afterwards to give you time to decide. Please note: deposits are non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If you need to move your date and I’m available, I’ll happily transfer your deposit at no extra cost. If I’m not available on the new date, the deposit will be forfeited.

Should my make-up be done before or after my hair?

I’ll prep your hair – curling and clipping if needed – before your make-up is applied, then return to style it fully just before you put on your dress. Whether you’re doing your own make-up or having it done professionally, I’ll make sure the timing works perfectly with your schedule and chosen look. I can liaise directly with your make-up artist if you have one, or we can discuss timings together to ensure everything runs smoothly. We can go over all of this in more detail during your trial to plan the morning perfectly.

How should I prepare my hair on the morning of my wedding?

We’ll discuss hair preparation in detail at your trial, as it depends on your hair type. In general, I recommend washing your hair on the morning of your wedding and avoiding any styling products or heat beforehand – I prefer to work with freshly washed hair. If you’re having a blow-dry on the day, I’ll begin by lightly wetting your hair. Please wear a robe or something that’s easy to remove, so your finished hairstyle stays perfect when you get dressed.

Can you suggest make-up artists for my wedding day?

I can highly recommend Lisa Tyrell for your wedding make-up – she’s a talented artist whose work beautifully complements my bridal hairstyling. You can view her portfolio at www.lisatyrell.co.uk When we discuss your wedding hair, just let me know if you’d like to include make-up in your plans, and I can help coordinate everything for you.
